Pattern Assesment
This is my 2nd Vanora.  The first one I made while participating in the MCAL.  This one I completed using only the written instructions.  Because she did this doily as a MCAL, the pattern includes pictures with a diagram overlay & several videos of the more complicated stitches.  Pattern also provides stitch counts. This would be an excellent pattern to try if you are new to her designs & worried about some of the more complicated stitches.

Useful Notes

• Round 32: When completing the Ch5, TC in 5th ch from hook; remember that this stitch is similar to a picot where you would typically slip stitch in the 3rd ch from the hook.  Only with the stitch in Round 32, you are doing a Treble Crochet in the indicated stitch.
