Pattern Notes: I have made this blanket many times in solid color as well as with gradient dyed yarn.  For this one, I started with a Ch 174 & completed 30 repeats of the pattern. The pattern is a base of 19 stitches. To reduce or increase the width of the blanket either deduct or add 19 to the starting chain. The instructions are well written. It is very easy to memorize  the 4 row repeat, making this blanket a great one to work on while doing something else or a project that's easy to pick back up after putting it down for a while.
