Knitted Kakano Hat
As a beginning knitter, I was worried about attempting this pattern. So I was especially glad the pattern was free. (Buying something to find out it is way above your skill level is frustrating!) I was excited when I was able to easily complete this fantastic hat easily. This hat was made for my mom for Christmas.

Notes
CO 112 stitches & worked Twisted Ribbing with Size 5 needles.
Worked main body with Size 6 needles. I didn’t have any Size 6 Double Pointed Needles so I finished the top with Size 5.
Repeated Body 5 times instead of 4.
Washed on gentle cycle & dried hat and it is SO soft.
