Pattern Notes

  • After Round 7, the doily begins to curl A LOT! See picture taken after Round 9.
  • Round 11 - This round is not well written.  I guessed a little, worked the round, didn't like it & pulled it out.   This is how I ended up working  this round.  Ch 3, work FPtr around last FPtr made on Rnd 10. Dc in same Ch3. Dc in next 4 sts. Work dc in top of FPtr. Work FPtr around same FPtr. (Dc in next 5 dc. Dc in top of FPtr. Work FPtr around same FPtr.) Repeat within () to last 5 dc. Dc in last 5 dc.
  • Round 28 - I'm not sure if this is an error, but it seemed strange so I omitted the FPtr around next dc (first dc after ch-2).

If you wanted to make a smaller version of this doily, it could easily be finished after completing Rounds 16 & 17 or Round 22.
